Thanks alot. I'll only be needing a small internal drive because of the external one I do have. I ordered a 4-4pin firewire cable yesterday so when that comes I'll find out if 5200rpm is fast enough..

Well I say that, but how will I know if it's too slow? Will there be any noticable things to look out for? I don't want to think its fast enough, then record over all my footage thinking that I have it backed up on the HDD!

Damn, just checked! I have a 4200rpm not a 5200rpm. That's even worse!
