Default New spec gonna make a difference?

hay,

ive been conveting divx movies for some time to author onto dvd. But this process on my current system takes around 2-4 hours. Im in need of faster encoding and was wondering if the spec that i have put togeather will actually make the whole process faster? i already have some kit left from my old system that i will be using such as 1GB kingston PC 3200 RAM and WinFast A350 TDH LX GeForce FX 5900 AGP card.

New system spec:
MSI K8N Neo2 Platinum
AMD Winchester Athlon 64bit 3200+ 939pin Processor
2x Hitachi Deskstar 80GB 7200rpm SATA150 8MBCache (will b on a RAID)

Ne views pps???
