Don't video all that often. I do a week scuba trip about every two months. About 6-8 trips a year to warmer waters than is here in Pa. I have a weakness for Fiji and other Pacific islands.

During a week of diving I'll end up with about 5-7 hours of video. I have to say that I've only done UW video on my last two trips, Jan and March. This was the first time I ever used a camcorder whatsoever so all is new to me.

I have really had a hard time learning to edit. I didn't even understand the terminology so it's a very big learning curve. I finally found Corel U-Lead to be a program I can work with. Presently using a trial version of Studio 11 Plus.

I have a dive trip the last week of June and am really raring to go now tht I know a little about the computer work so I'd like to have a new one ready to go, with U-Lead 11.5 Plus (I already have it). Plus, I'm starting to get music together and would like to have it on the new computer as well.

Add to all this that the camcorder is an HD model, I'd like to have a computer that will handle HD---if and when I can handle it.
