Angry Building a NEW PC. HELP!!!!

What computer would you recommend, this is what we do at our church

Author dvd with sony dvd architect 4.0
Record and Edit audio files with adobe audition 2.0
Capture MPEG2 IUVCR 4.0.17.408 from iulabs.com

but recently we started having problems with our amd computer, and we are in the process of building a new computer, what would you guys as professionals recommend, what type of CPU and Motherboard, what type of capture card is recomeended,

We are looking for a motherboard that has 6 SATA ports, overall, and at least 3 PCI slots, any ideas?

Basically what type of computer do you use, at home or church or studio. just want to see what type of systems you use.
and if you can also list the system specs.

Why do you need 6 SATA ports?

Not exactly an off-the-shelf setup then.....

I suggest that you consult a turnkey system builder.

Here's one:

Welcome To Digital Video Computing

Others are available.

If you insist on going down the DIY route then do your research - people wont do it for you. This is a good place to start:

Mid to High End Turnkey Editing System – June 2007 - The Digital Video Information Network

(Marc, hope posting a link to another forum is OK)
