Default An off the shelf spec?
I see plenty of specs for a build your own machine but is there any consensus at all on who produces a good quality off the shelf machine for video editing?

My experience of off-the-shelf boxes come typically witha single hard drive and so are not the way to go for video editting.

I would always hand pick the components
