im thinking of getting a laptop for onsite editing.

i would want to use premier pro 2 photoshop and a afew plugins.

is this machine capable (minus vista)

over and above any 'Vista' type questions....

That's not a very big or fast hard drive. I know Premiere is much happier with 2xharddrive. one for the OS and a sepearet one for video projects and assets. But it's a laptop right. If you can get bigger than 120Gb then that would be better.

Also, I didn't notice (unless I missed it) the word firewire in that spec. A firewire port is generally considered a prerequisite for video capture and editting. Or at least it is if you shoot with a miniDV camcorder.

Alan is right. First thing after you buy this laptop should be attaching an external, dedicated hard drive. And forget about antibacterial keyboard and look for a firewire port.

ok, well im looking for a decent laptop, can youguys help me out to find one. budget is around600-800.

i have a decent work station, but i need somthing for on site editing
