No worries, I was not upset in the least - I am just a bit OCD when it comes to this mac / pc rubbish.

The fact is they are both amazing technological gifts - imho trying to say which is best is similar to debating how many angels can dance on the head of a pin ( the answer ofbviously is none cos as anyone who knows an angel can tell you they hate dancing).

All I would say is that it should be us who owns brands, we should not let them own us, but we are a tribal lot, so it happens.

Thank you all for the answers, though it still makes my choice difficult
Actually boottime, Marcus, don't mean anything to me and would certainly not be a reason to go to a Mac. Once my pc is started it stays on untill I go to sleep so hopefully we will not be comparing shutdown speeds now

In June I will be going to some kind of Final cut studio 2 workshop in Brussels were Mac people are presenting their updated editing suite so I have a better idea what the possibilities are. Especially if it's worth the big investment and steep learing curve (Considering I would be switching from OS and NLE.)

Hi,

I have just recevied my version 2 of Final Cut Studio along with the upgardes to Motion, DVD Pro, SoundTracs Pro and the new software "Colour".

The installation is easy, (takes a bit of time, due to the content that they provide). Have not really had time to get into it yet, but will post a report at them end of the week......

As FCS only runs on Mac, you had better makle a decision quickly....I also use the Mac for all my graphics work and photography, so not just for Video.......

Marcus
