Default Onboard video

My son's girl friend wants to get into amateur video editing and is thinking of buying a Dell machine Is the on-board video (such as the Integrated Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator 3000) adequate as there are budget limits or is a card necessary? Thanks

Any video card is better than no video card.

I agree, in my new pc for vegas I went with the cheapest dx9 card in the shop, works fine.
