Default What video tape capture card should I get

Hi all
I would appreciate some advise.

I'm building an AMD 2.8 333fsb, ASUS A7N8X Deluxe Mobo, I GIG Crucial RAM, Segate 120 SATA Raid 0 (to dump to), Segate 120 ATA (for C: drive) and Gigabyte Radeon 9600 video card.

I have a old but perfectly good SVHS camera and want to convert my existing tapes to DVD. So I was thinking of a seperate capture devise, be it an external box or something for a PCI slot. What do you think is the best way to go? Should I ditch the Radeon 9600 video card and get something else or is a 'stand-alone' devise a better way?

Please comment and give me some advise.

I'd recommend Matrox RTX100 - it'll enable you cpature and encode MPEG2 in Real Time, without unnecessary waste of time - From recommendations of Matrox, Nforce2 is a chipset sat up as incompatible device, but it's not tottaly true - you can use normally this combinations (i've been editing video with NFORCE2+RTX100 for months and until now, no issues).
