Default Mac or PC for Semi-Pro Editing...

Hi all,

(Sorry if this is supposed to go in a different board)

I need help deciding on an OS for editing, I have a budget of just under £1000 and don't know what to do! I've heard great things about Final Cut, but I've used PCs since I started video editing. I've narrowed it down to a 19" iMac and a Dual core PC from my local shop, but I'm still undecided, especially since my video-savvy friend uses a PC and my uncle uses a Mac. Can anybody help?

Thanks in Advance,

Steele

It is irrelveant if you have the cash. Run boot camp, or is it strap, and you can run xp on your mac.

Try befor you buy is the rule. Many modern editors are far more capable than thier users, think of it that way and you cant lose if you buy the one you like using.
