Hello, I was hoping you could help me. I am a multimedia installation artist And I have a technical enquiry. I want to create a video installation which involves superimposing live CCTV footage with Pre recorded DVD footage of the same space. The aim is to merge an image of the space containing a now removed object and mixing this with footage of the viewers in the space. This is so viewers can view themselves moving around the space while the monitor shows something in the room which mysteriously is invisible to them. I wanted to know which section of the forum is best for me to pose this question and I wanted to know if you had any other ideas for hardware or lines of inquiry I could follow.
