I read your message (that you posted back in 2005!). In some ways it was reassuring as I had the exact same problem yesterday when I made a short film. The first 10 minutes were nothing but blue screen then distorted images and the rest of the film. First time it's happened with my XM2, unfortunately it happened the first time I used a cast and crew.

I was wondering how yours has been since you had it repaired?
