For this level of work I feel 250 sounds fair or even cheap. If you'd work on the camera movement e.g. by always using a tripod or gimbal and added a bit of contrast and pop to the colourgrading, you could easily upgrade it to 400 excluding VAT (I'm assuming 250 is also ex VAT) I do hope this is just 250 for a day of shooting and that the total edit comes to around 600-700 otherwise I'd say you're undercutting the market. No matter how new you are, don't under cut the market. Sure...

My pleasure! Just echoing the advice I hear others give, no personal experience with it, don't want to take all the credit here ;) Hope you have a great day too!

OK, well Hitfilm Express is often coined as a good easy starter in terms of software.

Sorry to hear it. It's hard to diagnose this based on the picture you took of your monitor. What camera did you use to shoot this on? What software did you use to play this back in? What video editing software do you have? Are other/older videos from the same camera looking better in the same software on the same hardware as you notice this problem on?

Great to hear it. Honestly I do a lot of great shooting on the P20 Pro. It's not the camera I'm taking to my clients when I need to do a film gig but when I'm on the go and I see an opportunity to shoot some stock footage it so far hasn't let me down yet.

That's a great plan. Future proof is unfortunately not something that's easily done these days, especially not on a budget but nothing is impossible and I think there's a few options especially when you are willing to go second hand. I would stay away from any DSLR at this point though. I kind of would like to say to just keep using a phone but perhaps upgrade that one to something with a more high end camera like a Huawei P30 (Or P20) Pro (Huawei has partnered with Leica for their camera stuff...

Impossible but it is possible for some companies to track down these cut up copies and then you could have a lawyer send a cease and desist letter. Might even be possible to do that through the company that finds the fakes. YouTube already does that with music. Not sure if it will start doing it with the works from original content creators as well. In the end if audio is played it can be recorded, either directly or just indirectly with a microphone next to the speaker. Audio bootlegging...

I don't think I have seen any 70s horror films but this clip sure has a vintage vibe to it. I don't really see anything I don't like or would suggest to do different either. Nice music as well :)

You probably benefit more from a system upgrade if you're still running a GT 710. Current drones usually output files in formats that are better handled by new hardware. I myself have similar issues and so far all my research has lead me to believe I would need a current gen CPU and GPU with at least 32gb ram and ideally some M.2 SSD cards to be able to handle the modern footage standards for the coming three to five years or so. Alternatively you can film in lower resolution. E.g. stick to...

Hey Tim, sorry I didn't notice this one earlier. I've looked into this in the past. Different budgets have different solutions and different building dates have different options as well. For me there where two systems that where viable. An all in one system based around a DSLR and one around a GoPro. If it's a one off you may want to look at hiring. My research was back in 2017 or so and back then for me CamDo was the best budget option: https://cam-do.com/pages/construction-time-lapse-packs...

You can probably do a fairly cheap sensor trigger before the ramp. Alternatively, get someone to press record in exchange for some beers or something :D Looks like mad fun by the way. I've been looking into electric mountain boards because we don't have slopes like that over here but there's some forest trails and BMX pump tracks. Shame those prebuilt boards are quite expensive! Been eyeing Trampa stuff but they're like triple the price I'd be willing to pay for that stuff :/. I realise this...

Ah if it's literally that, that's entirely different. However you could theoretically use the built in Windows Snippet tool to it copy it to the word file as an image.

I know adobe premiere can do this. You can just scrub and then click the time and to ctrl+c . Made you a sample vid: https://youtu.be/1vWT16yw5PA
