Nice one Tim, I'm very proud of his achievement and he's not even my son, so I imagine you must be totally bursting with pride. And you even managed to get in some fancy fast cuts. AND the zoom in and out transition that I like.![]()
So here's the vid of my son'r graduation. Not really able to do much about the important shots or sound at the ceremony/prize giving. On-camera sound and monopod only I'm afraid. But I'm quite pleased with the opening minute or so and it's something to look back on ...

Thanks for watching. Sorry about the sound/quality of the inside shots, but it's only to be expected in the circumstances.
It made a change for me to use some FX. That one was from the New Blue Motion Blends FX range. It is probably obvious to those more arty than me but I was quite pleased I spotted the match cut between the Town Hall columns (not agreat shot, with the works going on, I know) and the organ pipes at 0:42. Another Motion Blends FX was used as a transition from the tilt up to the 90 turn shot. It only lasts four frames, but it makes the transition so much smoother than a straight cut
Tim

Tim, how do you call that zoom-in/out transition you used in the beginning (with names and tickets...).?
Btw, I really liked the first, more dynamic part, and I didn't feel you "over-FX-ed" it at all.![]()
