    Default How to speed up a clip creatively?

    I am a beginner Avid user and trying to figure out a creative way to speed up a clip instead of just using a time warp motion effect edit... I cant really seem to figure out a good way to use the strobe effect either. Can someone offer me some creative suggestion on how to speed up a clip other than just changing the frame rate?

    *sigh*.... Avid is an edit app.... Media composer is top of the line. There will always be arguments over which is better this or that, right or wrong... Next comes FCP for mac users and then you have Sony Vegas and Adobe for your windows users. Avid is also windows compatible but I would argue that mac is superior for the arts.
