-------THIS POSITION HAS NOW BEEN FILLED-------
Hey everyone,
I'm currently looking for a music composer for my new 10 minute short film 'Driftwood.'
Starring Neil Maskell (Kill list, Football factory, Atonement & Wild Bill) and a collection of exciting up and coming talent, 'Driftwood' is a sporting drama about a teenage swimming prodigy who uses his skill to overcome his problems outside of the pool. The project has already gained a lot of attention (the london Olympics has certainly helped us) from our crowd funding campaign including a piece on Radio 1. See www.driftwoodfilm.co.uk for more information.
We have recently finished the edit and are now working on creating the soundscape. The film is very atmospheric mixing intimate drama, underwater photography and fast paced urban scenes and we need a score that suits the inner-city feel of the piece - dark at times but ultimately uplifting. We are aiming to have the film completed mid-to-late June in time for a screening at BAFTA which of course you would be invited to.
PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU ARE BASED IN LONDON (or close by) as both myself and the person doing our sound design want to work closely with the chosen composer and have them involved in the final mix taking place at Air Post in London. Please PM examples of your work through to me. For style references think David Julyan.
Thanks for reading,
Jim
