Default Lens cleaning pens

Has anyone used a lens cleaning pen on the lens of their camera? I have one sitting here and was wondering should I use it or should I stick to something like lens tissues instead? This pen can also be used for removing finger marks from the LCD screen aswell, handy in case the team from CSI-Miami turn up at your front door.
