I'm pretty sure the answer will be "no" but I figured I'd ask anyway.
I upgraded from the cruddy 32mb motherboard video card to a 128mb somewhat nicer version. I think I read on here once that if you get a second video card that Windows XP will recognize it and make it useable for dual monitor purposes. Would that be true of my 32mb crap and 128mb not-so-crap setup? Can I hook up an old monitor to the old, unused video card on the motherboard?
Thanks guys.

Hm... thanks Luke but it doesn't seem to help me. I guess I can't use my onboard with my agp card?

On a related note: What's up with these 4mb graphics cards on eBay? There's a "S3 VIRGE GX 64 BIT GRAPHICS PCI VIDEO CARD" going for $8usd... Why would you even buy a 4mb video card?

Oh so very possible, your onboard card should still be in device manager (right click on "My computer" and click properties, then hardware, and device manager. Find the default card, and find the setting that says to hide this device in all profiles. If you turn it so it can be seen, right click on My comptuer, and click settings, then click on the second monitor, and check a box that says something like "extend windows to this desktop"!
And it should work.... i have a 512 meg x1800xt, and it has dual dvi slots, and an svid so in theory yours should work, (i stated what i have to say i havent done it, but its theoretical)

In device manager I clicked on VIEW then SHOW HIDDEN ICONS and it came up with some new ones. Two of them say vgasave and via agp bus filter, is this what I'm after? I can't see how to make them unhidden...
