Sony Handycam

Hi

I am having some difficulty (big understatement!) transferring from my camcorder (TRV 14E) to Image mixer, I keep getting the message - failed to write CDR 1 512.

Also when i try to make a direct CD it says it has been completed but the CD remains empty.

I cant find any troubleshooting in the help function.

Can anyone help/advise?
