Do you mean disk make, speed, internal/external. You question seems a little vague.
i need your experiance i'm using seagate barracuda , any suggestions??
Seagate will be the quietest probably, but they, at least by other people's accounts (I've never owned one), don't tend to be very reliable. Western Digital makes some very quiet drives now too though. I recently rebuilt my box and used a 7200rpm 1-TB Western Digital Caviar SATA unit. They're very quiet and reliable. Make sure you get at least a 7200rpm unit (they make 1000rpm units now too) with at least a 32mb cache (64 is better).
RAID units are faster, but I don't have any experience with them.
I can't give a brand that is better than another but would advise you to look for the faster speeds of 7200rpm and the larger cache 32mb +.
