Default sony TRV-245e lens

im looking for a lens that will gives me the 'fisheye' effect, i dont know its techincal name, is it wide angle? anyways, im having trouble looking for one, is there a website dedicated to lenses or anything? : i know its a long shot but oh well

A search for Sony Fish Eye on eBay brings up this

That's US though, try the UK site if you're in England.

Anyway the lens is indeed called a fish eye lens, and the quality of lenses can vary, so if it's just for fun it's not a problem but you can pay hundreds of pounds for lenses... the thing on eBay is an adaptor which will give acceptable quality I suppose, but not as good as a separate lens (although they aren't often interchangeable on camcorders anyway).

well, the lens on the camera is 37mm, if i get a step up thing then put a fish eye onto that i should be ok, or not? im new to this so i have no idea what im on about

I'm 99% sure that the kind of adapter I linked to on that eBay page would work on your camera.

I'm not too sure about this subject though maybe someone else has any ideas?

yeah it prob would fit but im in the UK and he says he only ships to US if u look down and i couldnt find none on ebay.co.uk
