Hope someone can come up with a solution to a problem I have re the above. I bought it 4 or 5 years ago and had no issues until I bought new laptop recently with Windows 7.

The laptop doesnt recognise the handycam (via usb connection) and cant find a driver. The laptop doesnt recognise drivers I download from the Sony WEbsite.

Because it wont recognise and/or install the driver, I cant capture footage from micro mv tapes to the laptop.

So, am i stuck with a redundant handycam or is there some way to force windows 7 to recognise it?
