Default What's a bad burn?

Now that I've surmounted the other obstacles I've posted about, I have a finished DVD in hand, or a few, actually. However, with the most recent one it seems like motion blurs, or a camera pan will look jittery like an old Charlie Chaplin movie. Is this a bad burn, or my player not liking this particular disc? I had one turn out like this before and I thought it was because I used the denoiser, but now I think that's not it since I didn't use that this time. Then one time, near the end, this disc rewound itself to the beginning of the chapter and almost wouldn't let me break out of it. Is this what's called a bad burn, or is any disc that the player recognizes considered a good one? Any ideas?

could just be media the player doesn't like. try burning at a lower speed or using different discs.
