Default How do I connect my camcorder to comp?

My camcorder is

JVC GR-SXM87ED

I want to connect it to my computer so I can get my old videos on to it. My computer dosent have a s-video port. What cable do I need? Also when I do get the cable what do I do then?

Here is the link from the manual for this camcorder,

You would need either a firewire cable or USB.. Firewire is better but since its an older cam it might only have USB. I never used windows movie maker which you should already have if you use windows. Im guessing it can capture with both, but someone else that knows will probably post.
