Can someone help me please because i'm confused! I recently purchased a unbranded 4gb Mini SD card of an auction site to use with some mobile theatre glasses i have. The card needed to be formatted into FAT file format. I found the cards file format was VFAT and was showing 3.89gb of storage but when i have formatted it into FAT the storage space is now only 959mb! I'm totally confused why this is! Can someone help please and advise me if there is a Mini Card brand i could buy that would not do this keeping it's full capacity? Many Thanks

Most devices have their own formatting function. Put the card in a device that supports high capacity mini SD cards.

4GB sounds nice, but it's SDHC format, not regular SD (that 'll go up to 2 GB only).

Many Thanks..that will save me wasting anymore money buying 4gb cards! I'll look for 2gb from now on.
