Default Sony Dv Tape has snapped!!!

Hi All,
Wonder if anyone can help. Camcorder decided to chew up part of my sony dv 60 tape. Tried to fix it but the tape has snapped.
Does anyone know if there are specialists out there who can rejoin the tape so i can get it on the hard drive.
I relise i have lost the first 5 minutes or so.
Please help....
