There's not really any "tuning" per se to be done. Make sure you have the signal set to PAL and that's about it!

If the secondary device field is grey, then check the "enable" box next the field. I would do this for the work and entertainment fields. Your final window should look like this picture.

Then click the "test setting" button.

I don't understand what the problem here is. Somehow, it just won't work.

I "fixed" the sound, so now I can hear music on the TV, but the picture won't appear.
As seen on the screenshot, all the fields in TVtool are grey. But why can I hear sound but not see any pictures on the TV?

Maybe there are some conflicts between the components etc, but I don't know.

I appriciate all help I recieve, and I thank everybody in advance for their interest.

EDIT: I have succeeded in connecting my laptop to the TV, I got full response without even restarting the computer
So the actual question must be; does my videocard suck, and the answer is YES. I can't use TVtool on the laptop, since it's not a nVidia card..

Now I know where the key is, but still I have a problem with the VCR; All I get is black&white. Can someone try to help me?
`thx!
