My sony handycam, reliable for 5 years, jammed while filming in Jerusalem. At first I thought it might be a message from God to show more respect for the holy city, but then an error message, 32:30 started flashing.

According to the manual that means water condensation, let it dry out and all will be well. But this was 2 weeks ago and the tape is still stuck in the machine and won't eject. I have tried leaving silica gel dessicant near the tape but no luck.
