USB & Sound

Am using a Sony PC105 and a Windows Xp or Windows VISTA PC.

Totally failed in two years to get Firewire working !! and have previously resorted to USB Download to Computers. However - it has never transfered the sound - although the Video quality has been exceptional.

With a new Grandaughter I now want to have sound - can this be done using USB ?

What do I have to do to capture into Windows Movie Maker for example.
