Default sharp viewcam VL-Z8H driver

i just got a sharp viewcam vl-z8 second hand but it did not come with the software or usb drivers the disk was lost.
all im trying to do is upload the pic's iv got on the memory card to the pc
as it is a camcorder and a digi camra in one sort of thing
i downloaded the usb drivers from sharp but carnt smeen to get it installed
it wont take it,but im not sure if there the right drivers or not,im running win xp pro if any can offer any help it wolud be great.thanx for your help

how are you trying to install them?

when i plug the usb in,i get found new hardware
i go to install the driver but it say,its not the right driver for the hardware
but i downloaded it from sharp,its mite be the wrong driver but
its the only one there for winxp

well look a bit more and try to see if it's the right one. otherwise, don't use the gay windows driver install thing and just double click on the driver file and start installing it from there.

i tryed double clicking it and it just opened up in notpad
so i right clicked it and hit install and nothing happens
good only knows whats happing
i dont even know were i can get a new software disk :(
