Please forgive me if I'm posting this to the wrong section. I am a newby, though.

I recently purchased a new digital camera that also takes video.
The video is suprisingly high quality QT MOV-MPEG-4 format.
It plays very well in Quicktime right off the camera but will not play in Windows Media Player.
When I import it into Adobe priemere it will import but will not play past the first frame.

Ideally, I want to convert it to AVI for Priemere but when I do it will not import at all nor will it play in Windows Media Player. It states a codec error.
Any idea what codec it might need? How can I get this into Priemere so I can edit it?
