Default A/V out of sync - s-Video capture and firewire

im capturing a video from from a Dv into my PC using S-video but the audio graduallu loses its sync.. will capturing the video using irewire instead of s-video will fix the problem..

what it seems to me is that capturing from s-video is analouge to digital conversion and during prolonged capture the audi gradually gets out of sync so firewire shouldnt do that?? bcuz its digital to digital

i never had this problem when capturing from video or TV / cable just having problems typically with camecorder only

Capturing via firewire will almost certainly (99.9%) fix this little problem. You should get better image quality too.
