IEEE 1394 Problem

I have two firewire ports on one firewire card. On my pc I saw this thing 1394 Net Adapter so I have a question that will it be alright to use my digital camcorder via firewire through this port?? Wud appreciate it!! And the company of this card is Pinnacle System bmvh
