Default exporting a quicktime animation to VHS

Hi, I recently completed my demo animation and need to get it to VHS so future employers can view it, but things aren't going smoothly. Here is my situation....I have a gforce 4 TI 4200 with an svideo wire running out to my TV, I have a 3.5 mm phono jack to rca also running to the back of my TV. From my TV I have a set of rca's running to my VCR (so I can record to tape what is playing on the TV. I set up my graphics card settings to clone, so I can view my quicktime animation on my monitor and my TV at the same time. (The cloning works fine) So with that done, shouldn't I be able to play the quicktime movie and then simply press record on the VHS? I tried to record but when I go to play the VHS tape, there is nothing on it. Have I set this up all wrong? Please help for I need a job desperatly.

Thx for listening.....

does your tv definitely output a signal? a lot do, most don't.

I'd forget running it through the tv though, just fire it straight from the pc into the vcr, the less links you have , the better.
