Default Extracting *.VOB content

I have some DVD discs, where music clips are written. But they're in *.VOB format as all the others DVD discs, so I can not extract them to several clips. Maybe i do not know the right program to use in this situation?

Sorry for my english, I had in mind splitting *.VOB files to seperate. By the way, if there's no way out, encoding (for egzample to mpg) suggestions would be highly appreciated

IN the editor I use, vegas, I can load vobs to the timeline and then I can just render out the audio stream.

I think the sound sampler, goldwave, will also extract the audio from .vobs.
