Hi
I use premier 6.5 and I just bought a Matrox G550 and as a red in internet it says that with this card you do not need to render I tryed it but it still requires render when I capture from a dv camera

Any time you import dv footage you must render it to a DVD complient stream (mpeg2) If you plan on burning to dvd. Some camara and software will capture as mpeg 2 but if you try to edit it the end quilty will be poor.
