Hi can any 1 help. I need a GIF editor that can make the back ground of GIFS transparent so that when i put them onto my video u can see whats behind them instead of a coloured background.

Have you tried to locate an image editor called The Gimp (I kid you not), I can't remember if it is still freeware or if it is now Shareware, but type in the name into Google or whatever search engine you use and see what it throws up. I remember another image editor called Xara10 or was it Xara11, again try both names and see if you get anything. A website you might want to try is the ZDNET website, they usually have a few free image editors available or have you any old cover mounted computer disks from computer magazines lying about, there might be a free image editor on one of them.

Or failing all of that, go onto Adobe's website and download a 30 day trial version of Photoshop CS, or CS2 or Photoshop Elements 4. You could also try a 30 day trial of Corel Painter IX (haven't used it myself but it might just do what you are looking for).
