Default Newbie in need of starter software advice

Hi,

I'm new to all this and want to put together three DVD's of home movie footage onto on DVD with decent editing, a music track and a voiceover track (for my mum and dad's 35th Wedding anniversary). I've got no idea what software to buy and wondered if you guys (and gals) had any suggestions.

Thanks for any replies

Got xp? Use moviemaker, it's free and will do what you want.
