Question Install ASPI Driver??

I'm trying to rip a video project of mine on a DVD to M-PEG or anything that will allow me to work with it as a file. Alright, well I've downloaded a few trial versions off download.com and they all have similar interfaces. Each time I install one of the ripping programs though, I get an error message at the end of every installation saying,
"Unable to execute file:
C:Program Files\AOA DVD Ripper\ASPI\INSTASPI.BAT"
CreateProcess failed; code 32.
The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process.

So I run the program anyway and try to rip the DVD in my player, when I do that though though it gives me another message:
"Please install ASPI driver. Select Start Menu-> Programs-> AoA DVD Ripper-> Install ASPI"

So I need some expert advice on how to solve this problem, I know I can't be the only one who has encountered this. Thanks!

The ASPI driver is for your CD/DVD drive. It should have come with an install disk with it. If not, check the web pages of your drive maker.

If all else fails, try the Adaptec ASPI driver.

Alternatively, you could perform a clean install of your OS.
