Default Desktop 'resetter' wanted.

I am after a free utility that will boot my xp d top and start all my apps and windows where i want them.

With 4 monitors I run lots of things (msn, email, temp graph, task m, 4 main drive windows, post it note thingy, claculator, winamp all the time on one screen, a kind of housekeeping screen I spose.

Settign all this up is a pain, so I want a free app that can remember what is running where and start everything for me.

ANy ideas? All i can find on google is icon resetters.

Ta.

Mark,

Can't you just put all the necessary apps in the Startup group? I'm sure you'll prove me wrong but I can't remember the last time I ran a Windows app that didn't remember where it was last time around.

I know this answer won't help completely in that it is not dynamic and the start list is effectively hard coded but it's all I have right now and may well be better than nothing for the obvious apps.

Alan
