Hi all,
This is my first post here and i hope someone can give me some information,
I have a sony handycam pc109e, and i am using videowave pro to edit my video's on the pc, but the quality isnt very good (im using usb) and i was wandering if i get an i-link cable would it make the quality any better also is the software i am using any good? Tia.

If only you had read the FAQ you would have realised that you were exactly correct. Quality will indeed be much better if you get an i-Link cable.

However, advice I would give you is donot be fooled into buying a Sony branded i-Link cable. i-Link is just Sony's word for firewire so any firewire cable will do - as long as it has the right number of pins at each end.

I used an earlier version of Videowave, because it recognised the capture card I had installed. If the software allows you to capture from your connected camera via FIREWIRE!, edit it preferably using a timeline rather than a storyboard view and then export it out to DVD, then your fine.
