have make a movie with above software and put it on a disk why wont it play on a dvd player?

hello

im new but im trying this myself at the mo. im guessing cos windows movie maker saves as windows media files, and not avi or mpeg etc. somehow need to get it converted?
ill be interested in seeing more qualified replies.

yeah ive also lost a lot of quality taking from vhs to my capture card what about you?

go to www.download.com and get blaze media convert. That will convert all your movie files to any thing you want

and look at the numerous guides down the left side of the page.
Like the rest of you, I am fairly new at this. I was lucky enough to buy a card that worked and with half decent quality at the first attempt. Also as you are probably finding, the more you learn the less you seem to understand!
