Thread: Topic: How do i get Windows Media Encoder to RECORD SOUND???

ive hooked up my vcr to my comp though my ATI all in wonder card, and i got it to record video, but its not recording the sound that goes with it! am i doing something wrong?? are there any other programs that are easy to use that i can record from vcr to PC with ease??? WUL for helpful information

dont have an all-in-wonder card, but i'd venture to say you have your sound source set wrong, play around with the settings and eventually you should find your cards sound source. It took me a while to figure out how to use my camera as a usb mic (couldnt get it to use the mic as a firewire mic, but for audio only who cares)
