Default audio sync problems

Using Sonic MyDVD 4.5, I have burned a DVD, using DV-AVi. It plays fine on my computer DVD and computer DVD-Writer, but on domestic DVD-Player attached to TV, sound is out of sync.
I am a novice. What can I do, please.

try going back to your editing software and setting all the sound back/forward, depending on how it is out of sync, so it is out of sync originally. then when you play it, it should come out right.

sorry, i dont know the mistake your making but at least this might work.

if you don't know how to set the audio out of sync originally, thenuse windows movie maker and when you drag a clip to the timeline, drop it on the audio panel and it wil lgive you the sound only. Then, put another copy of your video onto the video part of the timeline and mute it ( or set the audio from clip-audio soundtrack bar all the way to audio soundtrack). then drag the audio back/forward.

Interesting idea, Hen, but surely that means the sound is out-of-sync when played on my computer? Actually, since my first posting, I have found that the DVD plays in-sync on 2 other set-top DVD players I have tried. My own is the only out-of-sync one, so far. It all seems rather hit and miss.
