VIDEO CAPTURE IS BLACK AND WHITE

JUST INSTALLED A VIDEO CAPTURE CARD IT PLAYS THE VIDEO AND RECORDS IN BLACK AND WHITE IT ALSO SAYS LOOKING FOR CODECS

I AM USING THE SOFTWARE THAT CAME WITH IT IS THERE ANY BETTER FOR CAPTURING AND AND CODEC INFO
