Im using avid and after I capture the footage to the avid program this is fine but after I close the capture program for Avid and try playing the file again...I get the video but I dont get any audio ....the audio bars move as if there should be some video but I dont hear anything

what could be the problem?

I just changed a setting in the 'Sound Configuration' found in the Projects box
the settin was the "use windows mixer"...now everything plays fine
