What can people reccomend as good video editing software as my copy of windows movie maker is playing up and i need a better editer now anyway

I can have pretty deep pockets but i'd probably buy from ebay or somewhere dodgy can u suggest a few programs that are good

A quick scan of ebay shows Sony Vegas 6 at less than three hundred quid.

i think that might be slighly out of my budget i just want an easy to use program with a few effect and i need to be able to cut the top and bottom off of the picture

I use Roxio Videowave as part of the Roxio Easy Media Creator 7.5 suite. £40 from PC World, bargain and has some very good features plus its easy to use.
