Default windows movie maker help please

Greetings to all fellow video buffs. i am new here so please be kind until i get with the flow. I am enjoying playing about with windows movie maker on my pc at work, it is xp pro, i also have a slightly older pc at home running xp pro. although i have installed the latest movie maker at home, i am unable to get the rotation facility. anyone know why this is the case.
thanks in anticipation of a reply. oh and if anyone has good advice on how to reduce aliasing on 3gp video footage, i would be very grateful.
