Default HELP SPLITTING VIDEOS

hey i just need to be able to cut a video...and take out what i dont need....like BIG chunks...in example...have the same video TWICE on one file...just need to delete half....is there any program (free program) i can download? oh and the files are in .mp4 format...cool thanks guys/ladies

i tried but it doesn't like my mp4...these are different than mpeg4...so...thanks anyway though

MPEG4 comes in many different flavours. It's not a case that 'MP4 is different to MPEG4', just that the proprietary codec used in your video isn't supported by the software in question.

I assume these video files came from a digital camera. Did your camera come with software? What is the make and model of the camera?

actually they were recoded with nero recode for my ipod video....

Then that's your problem.

Nero Recode uses a proprietary MPEG4 codec that many players have problems with. I would suggest that you will struggle to find an aplpication that will deal with this codec adequatly.
