Default Frame skipping/choppiness after transitions in WMM2

I recently made my first edited video using transitions and effects with Movie Maker 2. I noticed at the end of every slow-motion transition the video sort of flashes for a millisecond. There's no break in the sound at all. Everything else is fine; no dropped frames, the sound is always in sync, etc. I've searched to see if anyone else has experienced this before, but can't seem to come up with anything. Any advice anyone can offer would be great. I'll be happy to give any info on my system that may help diagnose the problem. Thanks in advance.

Josh
